Different kinds of hurt: isaac’s story
The Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, The Walker School, Express Yourself, and Fablevision collaborated in producing a project for kids and parents to help de-stigmatize mental health issues. I had the privilege of illustrating the comic written by Leigh Hallisey, which is adapted from a short animated film also designed and storyboarded by me.
This project is part of a campaign driven by the Department of Mental Health this year to offer this comic book for free to kids around the state, so that resources for mental health is a little easier to access.
